The Record of Lodoss War Series have been one of the most popular fantasy-based OAV's released in the US. Based upon several Feudal Age, Dark Age, and Medieval RPGs (Role-Playing Games), the Lodoss OAV is filled with beautiful animation, characters one can relate to, (if properly schooled in RPG races and attitudes), and all the sword-swinging and sorcery any fan of the genre can handle. Combining a good story line with plenty of action and many twists and turns before the final climax, Record of Lodoss War is one anime OAV I would HIGHLY recomend to both first timers and those who have been into the scene for a while. I own the 6 tape OAV boxed set, and am currently collecting the Chronicles tapes, with which I am very pleased so far. I will be able to reveal more info on the Chronicles series as I get tapes, so info on it will be limited for a while. In the mean time, enjoy what I have so far, and come back to check for updates. One thing this site has that I have noticed many Lodoss sites do not have is the inclusion of both series in one site. I have visited over 30 Lodoss sites online, and found only 3 that combined the two series...so I thought that it would be appreciated to place both onto one easily accessed website.
